Angry Trump Lashes Out at Israel, Iran Over Broken Ceasefire

A visibly frustrated President Donald Trump publicly chastised both Israel and Iran on Tuesday morning, condemning them for violating a ceasefire he had announced just a day earlier. His remarks came before departing for Europe to meet with NATO allies in the Netherlands.

“We have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f*** they’re doing,” Trump told reporters on the White House lawn.

Urgent Pleas and Social Media Outburst

Trump suggested that the ceasefire violation might not have been intentional, but quickly added that he planned to speak with Israeli leaders to urge them against further attacks.

Minutes after his impromptu press conference, Trump’s exasperation spilled onto Truth Social in an all-caps post: “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!”

He followed up with another post asserting that Israel would indeed stand down, stating all planes would “turn around and head home.”

Ceasefire Crumbles Rapidly

Trump had optimistically told NBC News on Monday night that he expected the ceasefire to last “forever.” However, early Tuesday, Iran reportedly launched new attacks on Israel, prompting the Israel Defense Force’s chief of general staff to declare an intent to respond forcefully.

“I don’t like the fact that Israel went out this morning at all and I’m going to see if I can stop it,” Trump remarked before boarding Marine One.
